All are welcome, there is no membership, no requirement to subscribe, or to attend more than one meeting.
During the interval a hat is passed for voluntary contributions to a fund which covers expenses for speakers whether they are local or have travelled some distance.
The audience usually contains people from many walks of life, and the (known) age range of the audience is from 17 to over 80.
Meals are available, reserving a table is recommended

End of formal part of the evening. Informal discussion continues in bar as long as speaker wishes or can stay.
